Bike Wheel
A bike wheel is also known as a wheel set. It attaches
to the frame of the bicycle. On some bikes it is very easy to detach
a wheel.
Many midpriced bikes have a feature that makes it easy to take off
a bike wheel. The cyclist needs only to flip a lever on the wheel and
it pops out of the frame. This makes it easy to put the bicycle in the
backseat of a car or store it for winter in a small space.
The bike wheel of a less expensive bike can still be removed. However
it takes more effort and usually requires a wrench. A rear wheel is
always more difficult to remove than a front wheel because the bike
chain wraps around the gears on the wheel.
